Maya Ramirez

I am a third year student at Polimoda, an international fashion university in Florence, Italy. I study Fashion Art Direction, meaning I work with a wide array of subjects, mediums, and programs. Everything from fashion and graphic design to business and social media marketing fall under my major. My love for the arts started when I began sewing in the third grade. Since then, I have held shows in two fashion weeks (New York & Vancouver) and studied design for a year at Parsons Paris School of Design. It was during my studies in Paris that I started to learn graphics skills, and I immediately fell in love with it. I am continuing my studies in digital arts and enjoy growing my strengths in the subject. I also enjoy marketing and learning about fashion strategy and communication. Additionally, I consider myself a creative nomad, or someone who loves to embrace cultures and learn along the way! Coming from Ohio, I've lived in Sicily, Madrid, Paris, and Florence, and I cannot wait to keep exploring ...
